Flashback Friday

Surprise!  In honor of flashback friday here is evidence that I have seriously been considering this blog for a year. A spring photo shoot with Kenny Keeler taken last year! Kenny is an amazing photographer who does so many versatile things with his many talents. He is the sweetest, is so much fun to shoot with, and his photos are amazing as you can see. :) These photos are a DREAM! On another note, my outfit is actually a dress a found from a boutique in Westwood (on sale of course) paired with a top over it. It's a great way to stretch your wardrobe, wearing your dresses as skirts. Who would have thought! You get a small glimpse of my boots which are still some of my favorites.. Forever 21, always. You're going to see a lot of F21 on this blog. The best.

Thanks again for stopping by, I cant tell you enough how amazing this experience has been so far. See you next WEDNESDAY, and have a great weekend!

P.S. Looking back on these photos convinces me to go back blonde, thoughts?!

Newport Beach

Welcome back! Wednesday is now easily my favorite day of the week, aside from Saturday because, its Saturday of course. This last week was so exciting! I went to the JT concert here in LA on Monday, he has honestly been my crush since "Bye Bye Bye." All that curly hair and those infamous dance moves captured my 4th grade heart. Because of that, seeing him as an adult was pretty incredible. I felt like I was that same 11 year old dancing in my living room, singing in my hairbrush, rocking my butterfly clips. Too amazing for words so check out my instagram to see pics ( of JT not butterfly clips) and of course I'll be sharing my outfit soon! Later in the week I stopped by the GAP sale and found the outfit that I am wearing for $30 total! I have been searching for some "boyfriend" jeans and these are exactly what I wanted. Super comfortable! AND they are still having sales.. I'll probably go back. Anyways,  in addition to the concert and amazing shopping, this past week was also exciting because Nate and I spent the weekend with our friends in Newport Beach! It's a trip we do every year and honestly I have such a hard time leaving. It was so relaxing and so so fun, I feel so blessed to spend time with such amazing people in such a beautiful place. While I was there I had an amazing opporunity to shoot with photographer Sean Atcheson of Frame Media! He is so incredibly talented and so so sweet. He made me feel super comfortable which you can definitely see in the pictures. I am so excited to share them with you, so here they are!

Oh! And stop by on FRIDAY for a special post ;)

Happy Wednesday!

Welcome back and Happy Wednesday! Thank you to everyone for showing so much support for this project in the last week, amazing! I found this sweater at the gap at the beginning of the fall season last year and I needed to have it because 1) it's my nickname and 2) now it's my blog name. BUT it was over $50.. yeah, no! So I did what I normally do, stalk the website for the sales and FINALLY it happened and I got it for $14 :) Confession: I almost NEVER buy anything full price. Everything goes on sale at one point so if your smart (or semi OCD and stalkerish) you can get anything for less. Which of course is important so our shopping budget stretches and we can have more muahaha.. anyways, let's be real this has been the longest week of my life waiting to post again so I'm glad Wednesday is here! This weekend Nate and I are going to Newport Beach so get ready for some beachy photos next week! Thanks again for following!

In a wink

Yay! It's here! It's here! I can't  believe I'm sitting here writing my first blog post. Even though I'm currently in my PJs curled up in bed on a lovely Sunday morning, I feel like I'm typing this with my right hand while my left is losing grip as I hang on the edge of a very tall oceany cliff looking down at crashing waves and pointy rocks below... Dramatic, I know. I have been talking about this project for the last year and have found, quite literately, ONE MILLION reasons not to do this. I am a perfectionist to a terrible fault and it has held me back from things I really want. Its part of why I am doing this, to let you in, to be vulnerable, and genuine, and authentic, and real, and it's terrifying. Most of all, I am also doing this because I want to share my ideas about fashion and life, be creative, help others, and of course HAVE FUN!  Thank you so much for being curious and for following! I hope to see you every WEDNESDAY for new blog posts :)

Scroll down to the bottom to find info on my outfit

I also want to shout out everyone who has been so supportive during this process, I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my corner cheering me on!
